Our Process…. Your Satisfaction!
During your initial appointment, one of our professionals will inspect your existing windows, ask questions about your needs and budget, and take measurements of your work area. They will then provide a personalized estimate for the project and review financing options. When you’re ready to move forward, we will order your new windows, take payment and schedule a time for the installation. After your old window replacement is completed, the installer will perform a final inspection, review product and service warranties with you, and remove your old windows and any debris from the project.
We back our replacement windows and patio doors with a lifetime craftsmanship warranty. We also back our window installations services and patio installation services with a three-year labor warranty. On top of all that, we offer a free lifetime accidental glass breakage warranty on select replacement window products.

Installation FAQ
There are two aspects to your window installation project, the product and the service. Builder Stock Windows partners with only industry leading window manufacturers that are proven with over a half century of window innovation and continuous quality enhancements. We will explain to you the differences to look for when comparing the windows you are buying from us to anyone else. We deal direct with the manufacturer which eliminates a middle man (distributor) therefore providing our customers better manufacturer support for your initial order and any necessary warranty claims down the road. We couple that with our commitment to superior customer service through our sales team and our installation team. Our installation staff averages about 20 years in the field and they are experts with both new construction and window replacement.
Builder Stock Windows will remove and properly dispose the old windows as part of the cost for the project.
Builder Stock Windows will take care of delivery and the associated costs for delivery of the windows from the manufacturer to the job site.
We prefer that someone responsible for your home be there. It is helpful to resolve any issues should they arise. Only you can make decisions that will affect the final results.
Typically, we only have two openings at a time without windows installed. We keep a watchful eye on the weather and will adjust our methods accordingly.
Most homes can be completed in one day. If additional time is needed, we will advise you during the quotation stage.
Builder Stock Windows takes great pride in our work and we are meticulous with our project clean-up both inside and outside the house. We use tarps, drop cloths, and other tools to assure protection and complete clean-up of your property. As each opening is completed we pick up the drop cloth, vacuum, re-install window treatments and position furniture to its original placement.
Builder Stock Windows will take care of obtaining and the associated costs for any necessary building permits for the job.
In most cases, replacement windows will be installed from the outside allowing the existing trim and casing to stay untouched. However, in some cases, trim will need to be removed and in all probability, removing the trim around your windows will damage it. Builder Stock Windows will install new matching style trim if necessary for a reasonable additional cost. It will be the homeowners responsibility to paint, stain, or varnish the trim.
Builder Stock Windows asks that the homeowner contacts their alarm company and have them come out to temporarily remove the sensors from the windows prior to the window installation date and then come back to reinstall after installation. In most cases our technicians can remove security sensors. However, if the window sensors are not reusable, our installers will remove but you will have to work with your security system installer to reinstall new sensors. Our sales representative will address this when you receive a quote.
Builder Stock Windows asks that the homeowner removes all blinds and window coverings prior to the installation date. If the homeowner is not capable, our installation team can help remove window treatments, however reinstallation is only provided by Builder Stock Windows if the window treatments fit the replacement windows in the same manner as the original windows. In some cases blinds and or other inside mounted window treatments may not fit the specific dimensions of the replacement window and in those cases the homeowner will have to work with their window treatment company for window treatment reinstallation.
On the inside of the house, if you have fragile personal items near the windows being replaced, we ask that you to remove them from the work areas prior to your scheduled installation date. If you are capable of clearing furniture from nearby the window great, otherwise our installation team will help move your furniture. On the outside of the house any bushes or trees that are in direct obstruction of replacing a window must be trimmed or removed by the homeowner prior to the installation date.
Every home is unique, so there is no easy answer. The price is determined by your existing window sizes, the options you choose, and the difficulty of the installation. We buy direct from the manufacturer and pass our volume discounts to our customers.
